Which Department For Va C&p?

Question

The VARO (DRO) is scheduling me for an examination for my appeal at the Long Beach VA hospital for my knee. Does anyone know if I would be going to Ortho or Rehab or? I would just like to prepare myself in any way I can. The doctor that did my original C&P exam didn't use a goniometer or check for crepitus, etc. Of course the VA never would allow an MRI until 2 years later but that is part of this exam now.

Thanks for any help/advice and good luck.

Actually there is no department. The C & P clerk will set you up an appointment with what ever doctor they can get. The doctor maybe a specialist in orthology or rehability or a plain nurse practitioner.

Thanks guys for the help. I didn't know there was such an animal as a c&p clerk. I've been to the hospital a few hundred times and never saw or heard anything. All my C&Ps were done by QTC in the past. Thanks again and good luck.
