Ebenefits Appeal Status Info Unavailable Until September

I tried to check my husband's status on appeals pending at the Board and saw that the information will be unavailable until September. That must be one heck of a redesign/reboot to take two and a half months to implement.

It think it is a crock.

We cant depend on Peggy (the 800#) we cant depend on ebenefits until Septerber (maybe it takes them that long to find and read our statuses, and we have to depend on IRIS....

My 5 days for IRIS reply on status have gone by already.....

But I filed it as a complaint.

A few IRISes I sent years ago have never been replied to.at all.

Maybe they should just give out Miss Cleo's phone number instead of the 800#.

(Ms. Cleo was the TV psychic years ago...but even a prediction from a psychic is better than nothing I guess)

Or the moved personnel to help us better with our claims? ;) I don't see how they could improve it

better then showing us which "in basket" our claim resides! don't just throw money at new software. get more VLJS,

Or get software that will give us "read only access" to our own C-files. Our VSO'S can access it, there must be a

password system in place already. why can't we give ourselves POA?

I'm hopeful they are working NOD's now and that might be what the lack of ebenefits might be about.

My appeal was with the VLJ when ebenefits->appeals status got turned off.

What is the 'best' way to determine the status of an appeal? I've looked at the "VA Letters" and "my Disabilities".

an 800#? VA Live chat? What are you using?
