HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted July 5, 2015 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted July 5, 2015 P&T is paid at the 100% rate which is around 3068.28 or so with spouse, but I think its about 170.00 less without spouse. yes you should be getting a pretty good size retro for 14 months if I read that right? but don't get you hopes up,I could have it all wrong. maybe some hadit elders can chime in. ...............Buck

Moderator broncovet Posted July 5, 2015 Moderator Share Posted July 5, 2015 The portion of the letter you posted does not reflect 100 percent or P and T. P and T stands for "Permanent and Total" which means 100 percent. Are you working? If not you should consider applying for TDIU, which would pay you at the 100 percent rate. Moderator broncovet Posted July 5, 2015 Moderator Share Posted July 5, 2015 The July 1, 2015 effective date is peculiar. Did you have a C and P exam on that date? Your effective date is the later of the date you applied or the date the doc said you were disabled with some exceptions, such as if you just got out of the service. You may be eligible for more retro (an earlier effective date) if July 1, 2015 does not fit either of those.
