Information on current federal, state and local veterans’ programs, entitlements and referral services is available in Virginia through a network of 26 benefit service offices. I like Military.com as starting point to compare state benefits http://www.military.com/benefits/veteran-state-benefits/state-veterans-benefits-directory.html?comp=1199433946637&rank=7 but you really have to go to the state site like the one you listed and even contact agencies individually since benefits change by the minute and may not be updated.
