I started this process 18mths before I retired, processed a pre-discharge packet. With the information I researched knew I needed all my medical records in one place, and they needed to be complete. From everything I read about the VA low balling, knew I needed to make it right the first time. Lessons learned from reading what needed to be done helped tremendously. This site ....can't say enough on how it helped me. It didn't hurt that I had my original physical when I enlisted back in 1982, showing I was perfect at 17 yrs old.
