One of our hadit Vets had emailed me about the Alpha Stim, for paid/depression relief.    Apparently VA is/may consider one for him.  I dont know if these work or not, but I may just ask my PCP for one.  Of course, that takes weeks or months.

Is anyone else familiar with http://www.alpha-stim.com/

?

Well this is working out to be great for all of the concerns. The therapist even ran the pain portion on my hands, haven't been able to open left hand since stroke in 09 after 2nd treatment it opens flat. Now to work some strength into it.

Anyone wondering about this try it definitely better than more drugs.

Very interesting, will have to do a little research, never heard of Alpha-Stim Therapy.

I've been using a VMC issued battery powered TENS unit for Chronic PN Foot pain, with marginal tempory relief for about 2 yrs.     Semper Fi

I believe that Alpha-Stim is sometimes helpful some but its not for everyone!! I have one and if I had nothing else to do it might work better but 30-60 minutes PER area od treatment and then 20-30 minutes for ears is not worth it to me.

I agree. It does help, but if pain is all over then it does get old fast.
