When I was in the military, we had to work 12 hour shifts, and sometimes a double or even a triple  (36 hours).

We also had the killer 2, 2, 2 and 80 shift.    2 days, 2 evenings, 2 midnight shifs then 80 hours off.  That shift was so bad I didnt know whether it was day or night as my shift changed every 2 days.  Its no wonder I have sleep apnea, according to the article.

Some people liked the 2,2,2 and 80 because it meant long weekends.  I say its horrible on your health.

Well this maybe good information for veterans with sleep disorders  and help with their claims

A lot if veterans don't know that sleep deprivation will cause other symptoms that could be related. to military service,
