tdiu What exactly is a VA Vocational (Social and Industrial) Survey?

What exactly is a VA Vocational (Social and Industrial) Survey and if its just a survey with a Social Worker then why would the VA want to re-examine SC conditions that have already been examined many many times before, it sounds more to me like VA bs treachery to lower the veterans rating, does anyone know for sure, or could it be for TDIU???

So has anyone actually had a VA Vocational (Social and Industrial) Survey(for TDIU? I believe) with a social worker?, what did it consist of and how do current service connected examinations weigh in on it?, are they physical c&p examinations or just questions about the service connections and how they affect working?
