I'm considering meeting with a VSO at the VA on Friday since I'll be their for an appointment anyway. I wanted to discuss my C&P exam with them and address my concerns. My claim is in the Prep for Decision phase currently.
The last time I met with a VSO I addressed questions and concerns relating to my previous C&P where I was provided a minimum rating. The VSO provided me an answer of speculation and really wasn't any help. I told him I reviewed my ROM measurements on myhealthevet and was confused as to why I was provided the bare minimum. He replied, it's probably a combination of things. He didn't look into it at all, just provided me a "possible" answer.
I dont know know if I should try again and speak with a different VSO or if I am flat out wasting my time. I want to make sure I'm treated fairly by the Va and my conditions are rated to the standard. Is the VSO able to view these documents and discuss results of a C&P and the VA's most likely way they are going to rate a condition? Or are they simply there to get the ball rolling on paperwork?
Thanks
