Adjudication for a PTSD MST Claim

Question

Hello everyone,

I had my first C&P exam today. After I finished with the examiner, I went home a little confused. Two hours later, my examiner called me stating that my claim, because it was under special circumstances (MST Claim) was going to be a adjudicated by the VA. My question is, what does this mean? Thanks in advance.

Try the VBA (Veterans Benefits Administration)

Usually located at your VAMC.

Ask for your C&P Exam Report on the date  it was performed.

Maybe the examiner realized afterwards that she did not do an adequate job, felt guilty, and is trying to make it up to you?

Complete speculation on my part, but that's the first thing the came to my mind. I agree with @broncovet that it's best to wait and see what she wrote, and what VBA decides.

Re: getting a copy of your exam report, I just did a bunch of research on how veterans can obtain copy of their military and VA records. The part about getting VA medical records is here:

All the Best,

Go to your VAMC "release of information" first, to get a copy of the C and P exam.  It will be more difficult if its a QTC exam.  QTC is a company VA hires to do many exams.
