Going to by psych C&P Wednesday, any advice or tips?

So I got my psych exam Wednesday, I believe I suffer from anxiety. I had nasal surgery done while in, afterwards I stopped breathing, and needed to be resuscitated. Since that incident I kept getting anxiety like symptoms, and in the last few years it has gotten worse, I separated under a year ago. What should I expect when I go on Wednesday?

Expect a lot of questions aimed at pre-service time in your life, and post-service, but not necessarily related to service.  Not everyone gets examined like that, but many do.  If your examiner wants to go away from service time, keep steering conversation back to service years.  Try to avoid talking about life before service, except when it relates to how you didn't have problems before joining the service.

I hope you get a decent examiner to me that means a lot  other wise just answer all his/her questions honestly and be able to back up what you say.

...you may want to take some copies records of evidence that best favors your claim in case the examiner don't have it  or cover it  then you can ask to submit it as new evidence ...this is where a lot of veteran lose out..if they (examiner) don't have the favorable records of evidence to read...its usually a denial.

some times the VA Don't send everything to the examiner   even though the examiner is required to read your C-File....again C-File may not have  those valuable records in it.

better to be safe than sorry.
