0 Berta Posted August 30, 2016 Share Posted August 30, 2016 I didn't get the 2009 date typed in after the service period. Also did this doctor have a copy of your SMRs to develop the nexus statement? If so, it would have been good if he directly referred to dates and entries of the incident that caused these problems. You could send VA ,with this opinion, copies of highlighted SMRs to show the injury and treatment for it. Still VA might see that he did not refer directly to the actual SMRs and would not give this IME any weight. Link to comment
