Question
Bound4heaven
Greetings,
after I reciived my rating of loss of use of both feet, the VARO granted me auto grant and housing grant. My housing grant officer also informed me that I aslo qualify for a HISSA grant. He gave me the form and I sent it to the VAMC not VARO. Along with our plans, bids, ect. For new bathroom downstaires (ADA approved)
I sent all this info to the VAMC about a month ago. I called yesterday to the VARO checking up on a couple of claims and the rep informed me that my HiSSA appication was now with finance. I am unclear on what this means. I thought the VAMC handles the HISSA grant. Doe anyone have any advice? Thank you all.
God bless & Merry Christmas.
