Question

Didn't say for which disability the exam will be given for.

Still have ankle condition, flat foot, scars, cervical spine IVDS, and TDIU claims that are open.

Does the VA do C&P exams for TDIU?

IU Claims are decided on what the VA calls a "Facts Found Basis." There isn't an actual VA IU DBQ as such. Each DBQ, for whatever condition, will ask the examiner to opine as to how your possible SC claimed condition affects your employment.

Big problem for most IU seeking Vets, is their education and work experience level, indicating that they are capable of Sedentary Work (any type of job). Your perceived ability to do any type of Sedentary work at which you could earn above the VA's SGI ($12,400 per yr under 65), is used quite often as reason for an IU Denial.

Just being out of work, unemployed or under-employed does not get you an IU rating.

To re-butt the Sedentary Work issue, give consideration to applying to the VA Voc Rehab Program on your E-Ben account. If a VA VR Councilor determines that your currently precluded from a VR Retraining Program due to your SC conditions, a VR Denial Letter could Seal the Deal for an IU Award.
