My claim was submitted 7 Feb 2017, I checked E-Benefits this morning and it listed my as "pending approval". This afternoon (with nothing else to do) I decided to view it again, and now my claim is no longer listed in the "PENDING disabilities" section. I submitted a claim for sleep apnea. It now listed under my current disabilities with the arrow and indicating "not service connected". But this was how it was listed when it was also listed in the pending section. I take it most likely that I'm getting or have been denied. Now waiting for the actual correspondence from the VA. When it denied, I will most likely submit an appeal, and this time only after researching this site I will submit additional evidence. I will get an Independent Medical Opinion (IMO)and have the doctor exam all my records and produce a letter linking sleep apnea to my current disabilities. I am also considering utilizing "Vet Comp & Pen" to assist in my appeal.... Has anyone ever worked with the company Vet Comp & Pen?? Also, considering having Dr. David Anaise do the IMO " http://www.danaise.com/nexus-imo-letters-veteran-disability/ " feedback would greatly be appreciated. I thought that when I submitted a claim that the VA would actually take upon themselves to review all my medical records to assist in linking my sleep apnea with my current disabilities... I could not of been more wrong.
