Cardiac Fun

In December I was in the hospital for 3 days, I had a battery of tests EKG, ECG, Nuclear Stress Tests. I have an Ejection Fraction of 41%. On Friday I went to a cardiology clinic at the local CBOC for an ECG. The tech that did the test informed me that I would need to go to the main VA Hospital as she could not get a good picture. I would need a thing called "Difinity" for a marker. I would be having to schedule another visit when they called me. I get a call today from the VA PCP nurse; she tells me that the Doctor wants me to know that my heart looks strong. To which I let her know that was great news considering that the tech told me she did not get a good picture. I told her I would totally ignore the Private Sector Cardiologist, and stop the Medicines immediately. She said the Doctor was not in today, and she would leave him a note to counter his note. ......and not to stop my meds. Darn!
