I will be sure to check this in my future appointments after I officially turn 65 (July 5th)...I recieved the MEDICARE CARD but not in effect yet.

Not until you get the card in hand are you insured. This goes for anyone on SSDI - after 2 years you are automatically enrolled w/ the premiums deducted.

I just got my Bachelor's degree and that was easier than understanding how the medicare plans work!
