commodog
Hey guys. So, I received my award letter, a good chunk of backpay, and my AB8 and other forms clearly indicate permanent and total. My question(s): Do I still have to recertify every year for TDIU? Will I still expect a 5 year review of my rating? Thanks! Commodog
0 Gastone
As it stands now, yes to both questions. I read recently that the VA has proposed (hasn't been voted on yet) a change to the filing requirements of the 21-2140 to 55. Currently, 70 is the cut-off age. 0 commodog
Very cool, Gastone, and thanks. You're always helpful. I just wanted to know where I sit, and what to expect.
0 Moderator broncovet Posted April 28, 2017 Moderator Share Posted April 28, 2017 (edited) Good answer, gastone. I dont think you need to worry about a "review" of your rating in 5 years with TDIU, that is, unless you start working again. Then you have a problem. Just fill in the form every year, even if VA fails to send it to you. Edited April 28, 2017 by broncovet
0 HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted April 28, 2017 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted April 28, 2017 I don't think they send out the form in anymore (probably a VA sneak) to send out proposal's to reduce, I just send it in every year on my anniversary award date.
