Adware collects data from your computer, and then this adware can tell you what you have on your computer. Example: I have bought Mcafee almost every year back to about 1995. This adware can only tell me what my current version is. I have bought Winfax Pro from its beginnings. I have version 10.3 and also 8.0, 8.2, but this adware can only tell me what the current version is on my computer now. Why is that? How did I know that your name is Roger?
