AICD CRT-D Defibrillator

Rate this question

Question

Just recently found out I was exposed to Agent Orange for 14 months while serving in Korea. I have ischemic heart disease and have a 3 wire defibrillator, as a result of afib and AV node ablation. Will I be coded under 7011 at 100%, even though I did not have any specific ventricular arrhythmias?

We have had some aicd vets here who were awarded 100%  ( some TDIU based on the TDIU regs)

As I understand 7011, you WILL  get 100% P & T.

Read the special note in the middle of the criteria as to the difference between rating a pacemaker and rating an AICD.

AICD under 7011 is an automatic 100% P&T award if your AO exposure is conceded by VBA.
