Im not understanding your question.  If your RO has "service connected your sleep apnea and given you a cpap machine", then you dont have to do anything for service connection.

If you meant you have sleep apnea and use a cpap THIS is why you would have to have a C and P exam for service connection for this:

1.  You dont have a nexus for sleep apnea.  Did a doc say it was at least as likely as not related to service?  It isnt enough to have sleep apnea and using a cpap, you must prove that was caused by military service.

2.  Are you USING the CPAP?  Its one thing to be given one, another if you use it.  The cpap has a chip in it which records its use.

You can check your own records and see if you have all 3 caluza elements, then you may not need a c and p exam.

We have to do as the VA Wants  if you get a C&P exam, then you need to attend it.

if you want to keep your benefits or get new ones.

Note: just b/c VA Issued you a C-PAP Machine  does not mean an automatic approval for compensation.  a whole bunch of other factors factors in.

Okay i just assumed because I didn't have it before  my military service my TBI in service must have caused it guess that's why I have to wait for a C and P and find out? My neurologist just say it could have but not a definite yes or no

I would file  Sleep Apnea secondary to The Medications you take.....>for PTSD/TBI...if  Dr said TBI can cause S.A. Your better off filing a secondary claim for it/Medications  but a specialist would need to opine that'' as likey as not'' related to your S.C. PTSD/TBI  Meds.
