Question

This is a copy of my reward letter she said over the phone I'm 90% P and T with IU giving me 100%. I said I'm confused why why would the letter say I'm 100% Pemanent and total if your telling me I'm only 90 the letter is dated June 8th from my RO. She said that letter makes IU moot and it hasn't been updated on Ebenefits. Not sure if I believe here? Can I get what the meaning of this letter is I just wanted to ask if this makes me PT scheduler 100% she was confused when she read the letter because in her system she said it says only 90% is P and T... now I'm confusioned with moot ness especially since I have an active appeal and a claim the claim was decided I'm waiting on the notification for my rating for chronic adjustment disorder lumped in with my sTBI and ptsd. I'm just hoping they saw the bva granted me 100 for my ptsd TBI before they made this decision.

I just responded to your other post before reading this one.

You might have been 90% IU for a while, but according to that part of the letter, they say you are 100% as of November 2016. My 100% P&T letter is worded close to yours. It does not just come out and state 100% P&T, but it says rated 100% ... blah blah blah ... for your permanent and total disabilities.

The page you posted is just the award letter part of the decision, which would be enough to get you and your dependents ID cards, plus Chapter 35 DEA and CHAMPVA benefits for your dependents.. There should have also been some green or blue pages at the end which go into details about your actual ratings, percentages, and how they made their decision. It might be worth checking those too.

Have you logged onto ebenefits and checked the disabilities section to see what it shows? Also, the letter generator might be another place to look.

The letter generator says 90 but Paid 100% Permanent and total with no more examinations . Yet I was just at an increase for my TBI and PTSD with the adjustment disorder I'll be receiving that letter in a week or s.. the date of the back date of P and T was the date they granted me IU

There is a chance that someone printed your award on white paper only, so that could explain why you didn't get any color papers. Each VARO may end up doing things a little differently.

Gotcha. I am hoping your new letter for the TBI/PTSD will contain more details.

Were you able to find the ebenefits section which lists your disabilities? It should list every single disability and the percentage, along with secondary disabilities.

Ok it's lists the sTBI  as. 70 with alll the secondaries at 90 which is what confused the lady on the phone since the award says 100%. My new claim apparently they changed the TBI/PTSD to include and other mental disorders to cover every other mental issue that pops up.But I also have 6 other disabilities not related to my TBI
