First C&P exam ever. What should I expect?

How's it going fellow vets,

I am writing in reference to my up coming C&P exam.  I submitted my claim on August 30 and just recieved a call from the VA to schedule my C&P exam for GERD/Hiatal hernia, Asthma and Severe Sleep Apnea.  I am currently rated at 30% sc for asthma.  Has anyone taken any of these exams?  What should I expect?  How can I prepare myself for the exam and questioning?  Has anyone had to deal with the VA hospital In Manhattan?  Just looking for whatever advise I can get, thanks.

Well the C-PAP Should help your claim  but your probably going to have to use the secondary to another S.C. Disability/Related to your VA dx asthma/medications, Dr needs to say it IS likey as not your S.A. is related to your S.C. Disability an /or medications prescribe by the VA

Unless you have medical records while in the military about your sleep disturbance  a Dr will need to nexus this and if you have that  then just maybe they will service connect you for the Server Sleep Apnea diagnose by the VA   & With  a Prescribe C-Pap prescribe by the VA That is usually a 50% rating  and with your 30%    if this keeps you from working?

then apply for the IU , they can combined your ratings if they are less than 100% and rate you for the IU (pays 100%)

 Your Server Sleep Apnea should be rated at 100%

When you file a claim  for S.A.ask that IU be given & file the IU fast letter  but you got to file for IU  They sure don't volunteer it.

If I was a Rater I'd give you 100% for the Server Sleep Apnea.
