Should my local VSO be able to help me file for champva?

The application for CHAMPVA and their instructions are here:

A veteran must be 100% P & T for their spouse and any minor children to be eligible for CHAMPVA.

Form 10-7959C - Do I just fill it out for my son or do I need to fill it out for myself to?

Actually I myself didn’t fill out a damn thing I called the champva phone number and as long as they are enrolled as dependants in the VA not sure if you said they had ID cards but you should be Able to do it over the phone speaking from experience just did this about 5 months ago

My son doesn't have an ID card but he is a dependent on my comp&pen. I'll try calling tomorrow and see if I can do it over the phone.
