Pain Management Clinic

Does anyone know how the pain management clinic works at the VAMC? Specifically I would like to know if you have to go there all the time after the first visit or can what they do be done at the local clinic near my house. It is a 2 hr. drive each way to the VAMC. Thanks Dale Jr.8

Where I go to the pain clinic, I go to my local VA, as it is only 35 miles away,we meet once a month. We have veterans coming in form over a hundred miles away, but have heard in some Va's that they have video setups, so you can go to a satellite clinic, just have to ask, as every RO seems to be different. all they do at the monthly meetings is explain about pain, then they have different type's of doctors, come in explain different things, then you are having any kind of problems, with anything realting to the pain situation, the doctors are very good to help you out, at least up here they are.
