Guest L
This is the best link I could find and it does not answer your question. It does give you a place to start for researching: https://www.va.gov/health/patientadvocate/ I did have someone myself - as a patient... removed and suspended for causing a disruption. His vulgar language was so foul - no others in the waiting area stood up for me or to stop his display- He was removed and this was his third incident in a week, I was told / barred from the property. In case you are curious- as he sat next to me waiting he - started saying what he would do to me in a sexual manner. I did not know this man or had not seen him. But this Navy Woman don't play! MPsgt
If you’re reported to the VA Police. You’ll subsequently be flagged as a “behavioral problem” for the foreseeable future at any VAMC.
Gastone
Any VMC Employee just has to call (or press their Emergency Button) the VA Police regarding any Disruptive or violent behavior demonstrated by a Vet. There's always a potential for being Barred from the VMC or requiring a VA escort when attending appointments. For certain, the Vet's name and Picture will be on the VA Police watch list, not good. HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted March 5, 2018 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted March 5, 2018 I agree Most of us do get pissed off at the clerk's & the Dr's at one time or another I know I have several times just from there shited attitude, but we just have to suck it up and just roll with the flow, some vets do report them..I never have But have sure thought about it. to lose your cool is not cool at the VMC. vetquest
I lost my cool with a jerk VA doctor once. He was being very disrespectful and I made a suggestion to him that was not too kind. For two years thereafter it was required that my psychiatrist be in the room with me when I met with a VA doctor. I do not believe that there is a committee that you can be reported to but there is definitively a procedure to flag vets with attitude issues.
