Allen,

It turns out that the Navy didn't really care about noise level until 1980. You would think that three years around A-7 aircraft exposure would be enough for them to see that my hearing lose is connected to JETS and that JETS make loud noise.

Touch and goes, were mostly when we were on land. The Aircraft would practice safe landing, and take-off again before they stopped with the trottle full open (129 DB for about 1 minute). As a plane captain we had to sit in the fuel pits, on land, and watch while they ran out of fuel before refueling them. I did refueling also as well as tow-tractor, huffer, and mobile generators.

Thanks,

Hello Stretch,

there's a huge list of research at the lower end of this page.

Wonder if anyone has researched the private sector & occupational exposures & compared awarded claims?

It's very difficult to believe, that with the extent of research on tinnitus & hearing loss, that the DOD, Dept. of Navy, Dept of Veterans affairs, NSO's & anyone with common since, (this apparently excludes VA adjudicators, health care & C&P examiners) doesn't know that MILITARY service will "RING YOUR BELL!".

If not from the illness, disease, Vaccines or Toxins. Than more than likely from trauma or noise exposure.

It's Called, "OCCUPATIONAL INJURY.

I find it disgusting, that a US NAVAL flight crew Captain, is put through the BS your subjected to, in order to PROVE how there is a "POSSIBLE NEXUS", between your documented NAVAL OCCUPATION and hearing loss, "BILATERAL" tinnitus and illnesses, when "MEDICAL SCIENCE" has already made the association.
