Can Diabetes occur from a back injury???

I suffered a back injury while in the ARMY years ago. My back has continuously given me problems. I am SC for DDD and was wondering how can i go about service connecting Diabetes 2? Any information or case studies will be of great help.

Not sure it would cause the Diabetes II?,  you would need a specialist opinion on this.

But Back pain is also suffered at a greater rate in diabetes; it could be an added symptom of neuropathy or could be an indication of kidney problems or urinary tract infections. A consultation with a doctor and a simple blood test can help eliminate possible causes of back pain.

I agree with Buck-I studied endocrinology to succeed my  DMII death claim and read over many studys, abstracts etc- none of which would reveal back injury as a cause of DMII.

DMII is presumptive of course to AO and vets, even in the USA ( 2 -3 vets  so far) have  proven they were exposed to AO- in CONUS-also

the Thailand AO regs, and Korea AO regs and also the C 123 regulations- as well as decision of vets who served in Okinawa, Guam, elsewhere- (we have much info on all that here under a search)

shows nothng is impossible but these non-Vietnam AO claims can take a LOT of work.
