Temporary 100% for surgery

Rate this question

Question

I just scheduled my first of two knee surgeries. The first one is on Aug 10th for a bone graft in my knee to prep for another acl reconstruction. If I file for the temporary 100% how long does it take before I actually get paid and also will the temporary 100% affect my current claim and increases in any way like postponing them or prolonging them in any way?

I don't know about the time this will take. I am fairly certain that your knee has to be service connected to get temporary 100% due to surgery.
