Question

Guest HolliGreen

Hi, does anyone give validity to the fact that the longer a claim is at the rating board the better it is for the veteran's case?

Also, what is the difference (or benefit, if any) of being rated 100% TDIU as oppossed to 90% TDIU receiving $$ at the 100% rate?

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. H.G.

Holligreen- I dont think it reflects the merits of a claim at all -the longer it is at the rating board.

TDIU is the same 100% payment regardless of the %-

but P & T with the TDIU is another matter-

One thing about a vet with 90% TDIU-

Most of the SMC criteria after the "S" award is based on one SC disability being 100% and then the others SC at 60 % or more and independent of the first disability-so in that way- 100% TDIU can be much better then 90%.
