Ebenefits updates for VA letter and disability percentage ?

Hi all !

My claim closed yesterday (Saturday-9/29/18) per ebenefits. I then went to check my VA letters and the disabilities tab but it shows the same old stuff and hasn't changed. I checked and have seen my C&P exam results and it shows a positive response on my side. How long does it take for the letters and disability percentage to change online ? I am going absolutely crazy. Is this something that changes only on Monday through Friday workdays ?

Relax and get a hobby.  I recommend you stop or greatly reduce checking ebenefits.  A watched pot never boils.  You cant rush it, and you just drive your self crazy by constantly checking ebenefits.

I understand what you are saying. Does it sometimes take awhile to update the VA letters and disabilities info online after it closes.....in my case on a Saturday ? Some on other posts on here says no and some say yes so I'm just curious about the inconsistency regarding that if it is yes and no.

I had my current claim was completed on Monday and for me the disabilities were updated at the same time. I am waiting on the VA letter to tell me how they came up with their decision. I was lucky enough to go from 80% to 90%, the one thing I am confused about s the effective date. I started this claim on July 19, 2018 but they gave me an effective date of 5/26/2018 (not sure where this date came from). 

Dan, if I can ask you said you have seen your C&P exam results. Where were you able to see this? I would love to see my C&P exam results for this claim.

Dan T., there is only one thing to remember about the online system and that is that it is not always accurate.  It depends on whether your claim is at the RO or the BVA among other things.  Some people see it updated immediately and others wait for weeks.  I know that is not the answer you are looking for but be patient.  Wait for your envelope and read your decision carefully.  Also file a FOIA request to get your C&P's.  If you do not get what you want look there for where your next move is.

Mine was updated within 2 days. I am still waiting on my decision envelope to come! 3 and 1/2 weeks and waiting! Keep checking VA letters. AB8 letter should update soon.

Ebenefits is updated whenever VA gets a "round tuit".  You should send them a round tuit, and they may get it done.
