I am 100% with MDD plus 60, 100%+60  will the va pay my wife for homecare

Yes, if you need it.   It does not matter if its "care by a relative".   

38 cfr 3.352 reads, in part:

Quote

 

(c)Attendance by relative. The performance of the necessary aid and attendance service by a relative of the beneficiary or other member of his or her household will not prevent the granting of the additional allowance.


 

This is the criteria for "aid and attendance" .  With a and a, they wont send a check to your wife, they add it to your compensation.  Its around 700 per month.  

If you are already smc S (you should be), then it will only amount to about 350 extra per month. 

However there is also the "caregiver act" and I dont know if you are eligible for that.
