Question

I have another question. Hopefully  you all can help me. I thought I had everything completed on my claim and now that want a copy of an investigative report from my MST. I had told then I filled out a report with III corps about my 1st Sgt sexual assaults and they want a report. This happened in 1981 at 2nd Armored Division at Ft Hood. An fellow soldier gave me ride to an office where he said I could make a report, a week later my 1st Sgt was relieved of his duties pending further investigation and came he back two weeks later, threatening me with me life and said everything was dropped and he started raping me again. I have no idea what office i really went to file a report i was a very young E2, and dont know any outcomes, have no copies and maybe he just went on a two week vacation. When will they get a copy?,  if there us a report out there, and will they continue  with my claim as it has been proven by my c&P exam of my parts by VA psych. Thank you for your continued  support. You all have been a lifeline for me and my nightmare of a life.

They are supposed to handle MST claims differently than normal PTSD claims so your C&P may have everything that you need.  You should look up the judge advocate generals office for Fort Hood and request from them a copy of the report if you know what day or thereabouts when it was filed.  If one was filed they should have it.  Are you still in contact with the other female from your time there?  She might be able to file a lay statement if you told her about it.  I am really sorry to hear about this, it sounds like you may have been duped.  Still call the JAG.

Good advice! Call the JAG- and VA will accept a buddy statement from any serviceperson, family member or friend who indicates you made an "outcry" to them soon after all this happened.

Also just about every unit has a web site and often have reunion rosters or email addys of members, to get buddy statements from if needed. But you might need only to contact the Fort Hood JAG:

I am s/c for PTSD/MST and I filled out a VA21-00781 - https://www.vba.va.gov/pubs/forms/VBA-21-0781a-ARE.pdf

That was all I needed to fill out for my claim.  During the C&P exam, we discussed the entire event and it was very traumatic for me to discuss but I got through it.  I had a "clear marker" as well...I became pregnant as a result of the assault, and I lost the child.  All of this was in my SMR's.
