Unfortunately we do not. It's the same situation as getting a tax return from the IRS. No interest. On the bright side, VA payments are tax free.

This is largely the reason why VA delays our benefits:  They have a "dog in the fight", and can essentially borrow money from the Veteran, interest free, by delaying our benefits for decades.  Better yet, the VA can delay us "until we die", and never pay us, as many people simply dont know that their spouse or heirs can continue the claim but only if they promptly file a "substitution of claimant."  This form is available here, just in case you are a family member who lost a Veteran:
