That site is a helpful resource for FM in general, but the VA would rely on a physician (preferably a neuro-sleep specialist) to perform an examination. To get an idea of what happens during the exam, please refer to the VA disability questionnaire (DBQ) list. You could expect the VA to use one of the DBQ's listed below, likely the second unless there are additional symptoms to be evaluated.
