Dr. Wilhoit, VA DOCTOR at New Orleans VA

Question

Who is this doctor? What is his/ her area of expertise? This person is doing a general C&P exam on me

Many of the VA Doctors who treat patients now, as well as most or all of the C & P doctors- are independent contractors- and they might look like a VA medical employee and even have an office at a VAMC but they are not employed by the VA, and not subject to 1151 or FTCA malpractice issues.

I found the doctor. She is a female  family practice doctor who lived and practiced in SC for over 30 years and now does C & P exams at New Orleans VAMC
