TDUI request resulted in SC rating decrease

Got my decision letter Christmas Eve.  TDUI had been rated at 70% - 2 separate conditions -  VA decision determined that my shoulder SC had improved resulting in cut to 60% …… have 60 days to appeal…..any advice?

Good point. That letter, while not medical, represents a lot of other areas of daily living that are challenging enough for you to be totally disabled on a lot of cases.

Thank you -feedback helped me a lot.  filed a timely NOD- made appt to get IME with ortho specialist. couldn't get appt before the NOD had to get in they only gave me 60 days. . VA did not send proposal to reduce so included this in NOD.  They also printed the reduction decision on back of a spouse notification (spouse notification was dated 4 days later)  will keep you posted really appreciate the feedback.

Man, they are rushing you.  I filed an NOD and they told me it will be 395 days before they can do my NOD.  Something is not right about this.

I agree with Vetquest, BUT, its the way it works.  When we ASK for benefits it takes years.  However, when VA takes them away, they do it pronto.  You know, its that Veteran friendly pro claimant system they talk about.  Yea, they talk about it then do the opposite.
