Appeal to prep for notification Dependents disappeared from ebenefits

my appeal  status has changed to Prep for notification as of yesterday.  With the change  my dependents have also disappeared from my award and is now in the drop box of “  not on award". Has this happened to anyone else? Im hoping there’s been a change to my increase and this ebennies way of updating rating. Any positive stories? Thanks!

Yes.  Its happened to many.  A good way to find out if you have been awarded benefits (prior to getting the decision letter) is to check Vets.gov/ebenefits "summary award letter".  VA does not like people with a letter saying they are disabled when they are not, so they dont allow these letters to be printed prematurely.  Check on your "benefits summary letter", aka AB8 letter.
