SOS - Veteran Friendly Private Doctors?

Rate this question

Vetrequest

Question

Looking for a Veteran Friendly Private Doctor located in Eastern Oregon (La Grande, Baker City, Ontario areas) or Idaho (Boise, Nampa, Caldwell areas).  Attempting to acquire an independent medical opinion/exam for my right knee and for a back injury which occurred during my military service.  Many private doctors appear to not want to take the time to help or get involved.  Any help would be appreciated.

Ellis Clinic in Okla City  will do IMO's/ IME's .

If you can afford a plan ticket  to Oklahoma City  tcontact Dr Ellis and check with them make arragments  ect,,,ect,,, cost  ect,,,ect,,,

Dr Ellis Clinic ,

plan to spend the night (motel near by his clinic) many veterans use him from all over the states. ( Worth the expense)

Look up Ellis Clinic   =for Veterans IMO/IME.

I hear great things about him and his staff.

He writes up a great IMO/IME After he sees you and reads your medical records  from what you are claiming.

Most all the Dr's that writes up IMO's/IME's are expensive , the main thing is  is how and what they write up, Dr Ellis has been doing this for Veterans for Years.

It is very difficult...I researched and wrote the letter for my doctor and I frustrated him to the point where he just signed it. It was all true, and he was willing to say it with his mouth, but not with his hand...I told him, what are you afraid of? The chances are extremely slim that anyone would question his opinion, and that's all it is, his opinion against their's. It's frustrating. Good luck.

Try to look up IMO doctors on the web.  Some sites break them down by state and you can start there.  I found a local doctor willing to do an IMO in my area.  As long as they know how to write the opinion and they are qualified you can win.  Doctors see the VA and do not want to get involved.  My neurologist that had been treating me for five years refused.  This site may help you to start:
