Question

I have a VA claim, that has been put on demand almost two years ago. I call my rep and get told it is on remand, I get no where and do not hear back.

So I am asking when a VA claim is on demand, how long legally can this be on demand before the final decision has to be made and settled whether for or against?

You probably mean "on remand", not on demand.  How do I know this?  Im hard of hearing myself.

Unfortunately, there is no time limit to the time VA can take to process our claims.  a year?  More . 2 years?  More?  My claim has been going on 17 years, since 2002.

Still, 2 years on remand is a long time, they are supposed to process those expiditiously.  I would call the white house hotline and tell them what you told me.
