Retro pay withheld for audit after a previous audit was already completed

Question

Hello,

So I just had my rating increased from 50% to 90% in an appeal.  Received a partial payment of the retro pay from the VA and a letter stating the remaining is being withheld for the CRDP audit by the CG.  However, I already went through the audit process when I received my original rating (50%) years ago which confirmed my retirement with over 20 years.  Ive been drawing concurrent payments ever since.  Are they required to do an audit with every increase?  Having my original audit paperwork, would it be worthwhile to submit it to the VA showing the results of the past audit?  I appreciate any advice.

Josh
