FDC 4 TDIU is C&P exam necessary

Question

The Baltimore RO received my IU claim on 04/30/2019. It’s is an FDC and includes a DBQ from my therapist. Will I still need a c&p exam? The last one was done in 2016 and it was brutal. I’m hoping to avoid a repeat. Right now my claim is in Initial review. Has anyone had a claim that jumped from the Initial Review to Prep for Decision approval and how long did the whole process take?

Good! we are all vets and all of us have had to jump on the VA Hamster Wheel. I can honestly say, we are all here to help if we can.

I went on VA.GOV and saw a request for me to send the VA a copy of my DD 214. Why would they need a copy of this if they already received it in my Initial PTSD claim? Did my VSO drop the ball by not including it in the first place?

WTF?  That is bizzare, your DD214 is in your C-file.

I would do it, but i would ask them why didn't they just get it from your file.
