Utilizing VA Independent Living Program twice

Rate this question

Question

Hi,

I used the VA Independent Living Program almost 10 years ago.

All of the assistance and items provided, do not provide help any longer, mostly due to age etc..

Can I apply for the IDL program again? Considering, I am older and need help with my 100% condition more so now than ever.

Thanks,

Go for it.  As Alex has explained, the regulations for IPL are vague, and, are not widely available for Vets.  Also, the IPL rules are subject to interpretation.  Be ready for a fight to win, but you may just get awarded the first go around.
