Question

I checked on my appeals status today.
VA.gov indicated i was approaching the deadline to submit VA Form 9.
It indicated June 3 is the deadline to submit the forms.
I called the VA 800 line and asked if anything has been filed by my attorney regarding the above appeals.
I was told nothing has been filed on the appeals and the deadline was fast approaching
I emailed my attorney while I was on the line with the VA person.
My attorney reached out to me right away.
He said that a form opting me out of the Legacy Appeals and into the AMA process was submitted on my behalf
My lawyer told me what form it was he submitted so I asked the VA rep still on the line to check for it.
Whaddya know...there it was.
Wasted an hour on the phone and was provided incorrect information to boot.
The website doesn't work right either if it fails to update important information.
I give the VA a failing grade.

@63Charlie, the VA has been getting failing grades for the entire time I have worked with them. I remember the big issue in 1986 was veteran suicide. Some things never change.
