TDIU never applied for?

Rate this question

Question

So I got the call from my attorney the other day that a decision has been made on my appeal. Upon a quick pop into VA.gov it shows TDIU under closed and granted. I never applied for TDIU. My attorney said it was remanded with my claim from the BVA?  A2DFDDBE-3138-44CE-BDF2-20577A1826D7.thumb.png.1d6d9967a65346ba939ba74ae7627320.png

I am with Hamslice and everyone else.  When you have the letter read it carefully and see what is happening.  They might give you TDIU and SMC.  Even if you are 100% scheduler but your SMC is dependent on TDIU you cannot work without losing your SMC.  It will say something like you are awarded TDIU because one of your disabilities prevents you from working.

Well I received the BBE today. They broke down a few of my appeal items. Knee went from 20% to 20,20,10 for the instability and extension rated separately. As well as my shoulder increased as 20,10. So I hit an actual 100% and they added the IU apparently on-top of me already being 100% and now total and permanent. So I see now what you guys mean about waiting for the letter, what didn’t make sense now makes a lot more.
