Non service connected medical conditons

Upon reviewing ebenfits... there is a conditions listed as no service connected... funny thing I never claimed the medical condition in question

I do understand that they do show items that are not service connected if you placed a claim and it was denied  ( have two such conditions) but  in this instance I never claimed the medical condition

anyone else come across this issue... of items being listed as not service connected when you did not even have a claim for the condition?

yes.. I know ebenfits has it problems... but the list of disabilities is usually the most reliable information on the site.....

I placed an iris waiting to see what they say......

Good plan on submitting the IRIS inquiry.

I have heard of the VA changing a requested disability name to something more in line with the rating schedule, but not this. 

Did you ever give a POA to a VSO? That would give them rights to file on your behalf and without your knowledge. However, you should have at least received a decision letter at some point.

No... I do all my own claims .... that is  why I caught it so quickly
