No.  You could inherit 10,000,000 dollars and still be eligble for tdiu.  Compensation (including tdiu) is NOT needs based.  Pension is needs based.  

Tammy Duckworth (congress critter) gets VA benefits.  So did the late Senator McCain.  

TDIU is about whether or not you are working, not about how much money you have.

Actually the only way the VA can take your TDIU Away  is they get word your condition that your receiving the IU for improved and you go back to work  And they have to prove your condition has improved or you committed fraud to get it....other wise the IU is yours for the remainder of your life  no matter if you become a Millionaire
