Ralph1950
I have recently learned that I my be eligible for a grant from "Monetary Trust Fund", would this cause issues with my TDIU?
0 Moderator broncovet Posted November 22, 2019 Moderator Share Posted November 22, 2019 No. You could inherit 10,000,000 dollars and still be eligble for tdiu. Compensation (including tdiu) is NOT needs based. Pension is needs based. Tammy Duckworth (congress critter) gets VA benefits. So did the late Senator McCain. TDIU is about whether or not you are working, not about how much money you have.
0 HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted November 22, 2019 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted November 22, 2019 Actually the only way the VA can take your TDIU Away is they get word your condition that your receiving the IU for improved and you go back to work And they have to prove your condition has improved or you committed fraud to get it....other wise the IU is yours for the remainder of your life no matter if you become a Millionaire
