C-file wait time

Rate this question

SPO

Question

So I have crossed over the 6 month mark since requesting my c-file.  I have checked online and called the 800 number without getting any further information.  I have also tried contacting Mary Ann Wentzel, who's name has come up in multiple places, but the email was not deliverable.  Any other ideas to get an actual status, or to get this thing moving before I run out of appeal time?

Unfortunately these things take time. I think mine took about a year or so.  Too many variables to try to figure out.  How many request before yours.  How large are those request, how large is your request.  Holidays between time, employee scheduling, machine down times. You would think things would go faster but most things with the government move slow very very slow.  Hang in there.

SPO I truly think it would be a waste of time, unfortunately. I think as several have advised, submit another to Janesville or to NPRC, whichever you didn't send it to originally.

El Train So where was that posted specifically?

Where I sign in to see my claims filed with ETA's.  They're not always accurate.  In fact most the time they are not.

OK; good to know that they do (or sometimes do) post that there. And of course,  you are right about any ETS's posted, totally useless. I'd love to see the VA having to disclose their accuracy metrics.

As far as ET's are concerned, they posted my as September, then November, and it has said December 26 2019 for a while.  They haven't bothered to update it since then.
