Yes.  Show proof to the officer and its possible they issue the lifetime pass on the spot.

I filed mine online, it cost $10. I uploaded a copy of my drivers license and a copy of my VA letter. Says it will take 2 - 3 weeks to get.

Paul it took mine about 5 weeks...I guess they were busy?

but I got the card in the mail.

I do not mind waiting Buck, whether its 2-3 weeks or even 5 weeks it is all good.

Now if I just get around to the parks to use it.

I got mine twenty years ago and have used it quite a bit.  It is well worth the money.
