0 Moderator broncovet Posted January 8, 2020 Moderator Share Posted January 8, 2020 No. VA compensation benefits are "not" related to income and are not "needs based" You could be a congressman and still get VA compensation benefits, and at least one does!! If you apply for VA pension, then, yes, this is needs based and your income can mean you dont qualify. He should go ahead and apply for comepensation regardless of income.
